We view the Paint & Coating industry as one of our core markets. Through research and development we have continued to provide innovative performance amines all over the world. MGC has been the leading producer of MXDA for more than 30 years. It is used as an epoxy curing agent with low curing temperature with high chemical resistant. 1, 3-BAC offers slightly different features. It is a highly-reactive cycloaliphatic diamine, and offers color-stable epoxy coatings with high UV resistance. The newly developed ready to use epoxy curing agents are Gaskamine 240 featuring low viscosity, Zero VOCs and long pot life with fast curing. Gaskamine 328 features excellent wet surface curability and adhesion.

MXDA (metaxylenediamine) is a diamine of colorless liquid at the room temperature. It is an aliphatic
diamine with benzene ring. This chemical structure contributes unique characteristics when used in epoxy,
polyamide and urethane system.
In the paint and coating area, MXDA has been used as an epoxy curing agent globally for more than 30
years. The epoxy curing agent features low temperature curable, and makes coatings highly chemical
resistant.

1,3-BAC (1,3-bis(aminomethyl)diamine) offers different features. It is a colorless liquid and
highly-reactive cycloaliphatic diamine.
In the paint and coating area, 1,3-BAC has been used as an epoxy curing agent. The epoxy curing agent
features low temperature curable, good chemical resistant, and makes coating color-stable.

Gaskamine 240 is a newly developed product. It is a light-yellow liquid, and reaction product between MXDA and styrene by patented MGC technology. It features low viscosity without solvent and long pot life as an epoxy curing agent. The coating using Gaskamine 240 shows a beautiful surface and highly chemical resistance.
